🎉 GO Beyond 2026: What an Incredible Success!

To everyone who attended, your enthusiasm and engagement made the day truly special and unforgettable.

A big shout out must go to our amazing speakers, thank you for sharing your passion, insights, and clinical knowledge with us all.

We set out to put together a day focused on lower limb musculoskeletal healthcare, with the goal to deliver practical insights that can be implemented straight away in a clinical setting, and if this weekend is anything to go by lower limb healthcare in New Zealand is in great hands.

GO Beyond Speaker Highlight - Andrew Jones

Andrew Jones has over 25 years of clinical experience and is the owner and lead podiatrist at Waikato Podiatry Clinic. He specializes in sports podiatry, injury prevention, and advanced orthotic solutions. His career began after graduating top of his class in clinical and orthotic studies in 1998. Since founding Waikato Podiatry in 2000, Andrew has worked extensively with elite athletes and active individuals to keep them performing at their best.

Andrew will be discussing the development and treatment plans for the varying stages of Posterior Tibialis Tendon Dysfunction along with practical clinical gems he finds useful in day to day management of this pathology.

GO Beyond Speaker Highlight - James Baxter

James is a well known podiatrist who has been in practice since 1988 and has extensive experience working with athletes across a number of different codes. His list of involvements include, All Black, Auckland Blues, Warriors, Silver Ferns and Black Ferns.

James is has also been a lecturer in Postgraduate Physiotherapy (Auckland University of Technology) and Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Medicine (University of Auckland).

James will be discussing the importance of getting your orthotic dosages right, and the issues that arise when we prescribe "too little" or "too much".

With over two decades of experience in orthotics and prosthetics, Sean brings a wealth of expertise to the field of rehabilitation. After qualifying in 2003 at Pretoria Technikon, South Africa, Sean is now part of the Peke Waihanga Orthotic service team in Tauranga.

A passionate athlete, Sean has competed in ultra-distance trail runs and the renowned Cape Epic mountain bike race. These experiences have shaped his deep understanding of the physical demands of high-intensity sports and inspired his focus on custom foot orthotics for post-injury rehabilitation, particularly for runners and cyclists.

Craig is a Sport and Exercise Physician at Axis Sports Medicine, Medical Director for Yachting New Zealand and the team doctor for the FIFA Club World Cup Bronze medalists Auckland City FC, a position he has held since 2005.

Criag has previously worked with Premier League Football Club Fulham FC and the All Whites. He attended both the Rio and Paris Olympics with the NZ Sailing Team.

GO Beyond Speaker Highlight - Dr Prue Molyneux 🎉

Dr Prue Molyneux is a practicing podiatrist, early career researcher, and Senior Lecturer at Auckland University of Technology. Prue was awarded her PhD in 2024, supported by the Health Research Council of New Zealand fellowship. Prue’s work focuses on the innovative use of diagnostic ultrasound to detect early inflammatory features that predict osteoarthritis.

Prue actively contributes to the wider profession through her roles on the International Foot and Ankle Osteoarthritis Consortium, the Osteoarthritis Research Partnership Panel, the ECR ambassador for New Zealand on the Osteoarthritis Research Society International organisation and is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Foot and Ankle Research.
