At 9:15am (today Sat 27 March) we are going live from the office to talk about kauri dieback and Myrtle rust. Angled towards the arborist industry but plenty of good information for anyone passionate about tree protection.

Workshop 1 - what to expect:
Introduction. Biosecurity threats to urban and rural trees (15mins)
Kauri dieback (Fredrik Helm) monitoring and tracking in Auckland. Presentation of Kauri Fact Sheet for arborists (30mins)
Myrtle rust (Emma Bodley, Auckland Botanic Gardens, Nick Waipara & Robert Beresford, Scientists, Plant and Food Research). Disease profile and research update (45mins)
Q&A session with guest expert panel on kauri dieback, myrtle rust, and biosecurity matters (30mins)
