All of the Osteopaths employed at Health Within Osteopathy have completed four or five year degrees in Osteopathy, and have received extended training in Osteopathy in the Cranial Field (OCF) which is commonly known as cranial osteopathy. 🚫 Neck pain is not a personality trait.

Some easy fixes:
✅ Sleep on your side or back (sorry stomach sleepers, you're twisting your neck)
✅ Make sure your bed is not so firm it hurts, or so soft you sink like a marshmallow
✅ Use the right pillow height so your neck stays straight or neutral
✅ Take breaks from your phone or computer
✅ Don’t carry your life in one shoulder bag
✅ Breathe better (yes, you might be doing it wrong. Belly breathing creates less tension in your neck)

Got neck pain from all that desk time? 😣 Here are 3 quick stretches you can do right now—no equipment needed. These stretches help improve posture and may reduce tension that contributes to a neck hump

💬 Which stretch helped you the most? Tell us below!
⁣1. Upper traps stretch: Anchor one hand under your seat, gently sidebend your head away, and use the other hand to deepen the stretch. Hold for 30 seconds each side.
2. Anterior neck muscle stretch -SCM, scalenes - Stretching the front of your neck: Hands anchor below collarbone, gently tilt head away and back. Hold for 30 seconds each side.
3. Chin tucks - Sit tall, gently draw your chin straight back—like making a double chin—without tilting your head. Hold for 3 seconds and do 2 sets of 10 reps.
