What you will be doing:

Assisting the team in the dispensary with the labelling and dispensing of medicines all the way to the final accuracy and clinical check stage.
Providing healthcare advice, product recommendations, and counselling customers.
Assist customers with their prescriptions and general enquiries.
Dispensary stock management and replenishment.
Updating customer files and other administrative tasks.
Blister pack creation.
What you bring to the role:

Must have Pharmacy Technician qualification - level 4 or above.
At least 1 year of relevant work experience in Pharmacy preferred - OTC knowledge is essential.
A First Aid qualification is highly desirable.
Proficiency in TONIQ Dispensary software is an advantage.
Are able to work late nights/weekends and public holidays.
Are able to multitask with a clear head and a positive attitude.
Have exceptional customer service skills.
Strong interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Have exceptional accuracy and speed with a good eye for detail.
Have Blister pack experience.

Unichem Huapai Pharmacy is looking for a full time NZ qualified Pharmacy Technician.

We are a small pharmacy attached to a medical centre and seeking a technician still in training or recently qualified. Position requires both dispensary and retail work so applicants need to have excellent communication skills, enjoy being part of a fun team in a relaxed environment but can still work well under pressure.
