The scales lie when your body is inflamed. 🔥

Ever stepped on the scales and thought: “What the heck?! I’ve been eating perfectly!”
You’re not imagining it. That sudden overnight jump isn’t fat gain: it’s inflammation.

Here are some of the biggest culprits behind inflammation and water retention:
💧 Salty food
🚫 Not enough water
😴 A bad night’s sleep
🔥 Hormonal fluctuations
🏋️‍♀️ Over-training or excessive exercise

If your body is in pain, tight, or puffy — chances are it’s inflamed.
And when that happens, the scales will always reflect it.

So what can you do?
👉 Trust that what goes up will come down.

I have a little chuckle when people tell me they don't eat carrots because they are too high in carbs.....it's not carrots that stop us burning fat, it's carrot cake!!
But when you have a delicious alternative like this available, you won't be missing carrot cake for long. These muffins would be a delicious treat for the long weekend :)

Here’s the recipe for this delicious tuna salad:
-750g canned tuna
-6 hard boiled eggs
-1/3 cup mayonnaise
-1/2 cup chopped gherkins
-salt and pepper
6 serves. 330 cals per serve. 33g protein. 3g carbs
