Ramping up!

Works at 105 Remuera Road is progressing a pace as the hallways, surgery, laboratory and reception areas take shape. Surgery walls and ceilings are painted, floor coverings are down and have protection on, tiling is going down, new air-conditioning units are being installed, landscaping has started - Dentec are pushing ahead and the Team at the Institute of Dental Implants and Periodontics are getting excited about the pending move.

Space taking Shape

It's been an exciting week with large sheets of Gib going up throughout the project, defining work spaces and giving us a real sense of how the space will work. Amazing to see how much CAT cabling is required to be run throughout the building. With dentistry becoming increasingly digital, the need to be connected is more important than ever! Things are really ramping up on site with so many trades working closely together to help make our plans a come to life. Dentec are moving at an impressive pace to make move in May 2026 a reality.

Bring on 2026!

The Dentec Team have be hard at it over the summer break and hit the ground running this January to keep the project moving forward and on time. Work has started on the building exterior in preparation for the soon to be installed facade. Roof repairs/ renewal also almost complete. Space is being prepared for new air-conditioning units and upgrading the front and rear entrance....

Last site visit for 2025

It's full steam ahead on site with new windows going in and all the internal steel structure now complete. Ceilings and wall linings are starting to appear and one can really start to get a feeling for the new space. Taking shape

Caught up with Jono and Monty for site meeting today and excited to see our new project taking shape. Electricans, plumbers, builders... the site was a busy. New partitions are in placed supported by new steel beams throughout all three levels. Great to see some ceiling linings being installed now on the ground floor. Fabrication of our featured spiral staircase is underway off-site....

Spaces taking shape

As the structural steel installation is now well underway allowing the floor plan is taking shape with the remaining timber framing for the partitioning and new walls going up every day. The downstairs waiting space has now been cleared and it's getting easier to imagine how things are going to look. Visualizing each space is made a lot easier thanks to the renders created by Dentec's design team, as illustrated by the 2 images below- both the real and imagined!...

Building update

Structural Steel at todays Site Meeting On site update: The structural steel has arrived and installation is well underway with the Dentec construction team. Significant building upgrade with structural steel will facilitate the new internal layout at 105 Remuera Road. Great meeting on site to check on progress of this steel installation as well as review of landscaping with the Dentec Team. The Dentec Team have confirmed that the all is progressing well and on schedule. Today's meeting also covered off landscaping and building security.
