Closures and lids play a bigger role than most realise. They are the main line of protection for a product’s shelf life and often influence how our clients choose the right packaging for their product.

We offer a wide range of closure solutions, including tamper-evident caps, child-resistant lids, flip-tops and oxygen-resistant systems. Each is designed to meet the specific needs of your product.

We know every production run looks different. Whether you need a few hundred units or several hundred thousand, we aim to be flexible where it counts.

As a guide, our minimum order quantity for non-stock parts is typically 10,000 units. But if you’re working with a unique format or lower volume, we’re always happy to talk through options.

Technology is changing the way we use and think about packaging. At Pharmapac, we are continually looking for ways to improve our products, not only in how they perform but in how they support more efficient and sustainable outcomes.

Our focus is on delivering packaging that meets the needs of our customers while reducing environmental impact across the full product life cycle.

Powders, supplements, and other performance-driven health products need packaging that keeps them potent, protected, and stable.

Plant-based HDPE delivers exactly that, the same strength, durability, and moisture resistance as traditional HDPE, but made from renewable sources.

Our plant-based HDPE packaging is tailored to the demands of supplement formulations. Barrier-focused designs that help maintain freshness and efficacy, every element is engineered with purpose.

For brands wanting reliable protection and a lower-impact material choice, plantbased HDPE offers the best of both worlds. Sustainability without sacrificing performance. Please note sugarcane packaging is only available in our HDPE pots and jars (lids not included),

How a product moves through the supply chain is often just as important as how it performs on the shelf. For many of our customers, freight efficiency and storage stability are key considerations when selecting packaging.

At Pharmapac, we think about this early on in the design process. We think about the products shape, material weight and how it might need to stack in transport and on the shelf.

We help reduce transport impact, improve space efficiency and minimise product movement in transit, so our customers receive their packaging in the same quality condition it left our site.

We’re proud to be a founding member of New Zealand’s new Caps & Lids Recycling Scheme, a nationwide effort to keep small plastics in the circular economy and out of landfill.

As a NZ manufacturer, sustainability isn’t a tickbox for us, it’s built into how we design, make, and deliver every product. Caps and lids may be small, but together they make a big impact.

By supporting this industry-led initiative, we’re helping create real, scalable change in how packaging is recovered and recycled across Aotearoa. Proud to stand alongside others driving smarter, more responsible plastic use. The future is circular, and we’re committed to leading from the front.

When all parts of the packaging process are managed in-house, there is greater control over quality, consistency and lead times.

It allows for better communication between teams, reduces reliance on third parties, and helps maintain traceability across every stage of production.

This a big part of Pharmapac, we control every step of the design and production process in-house, with nothing going to another supplier or sub-contractor.
