On Tuesday 27th August at 7pm on am putting a free event where I will be discussion the importance of restoring and maintaining disc health. Discs serve as the foundation for healthy functional vertebrae as all movement that occurs in your spine is dependent on healthy discs.
If this sounds like you might be interested, or you know someone who is interested in disc health, then you are welcome to come along to our free information evening.

As an update to my current hours at Platinum Chiropractic, I am now seeing patients on Tuesday afternoons from 3pm instead of Mondays. I hope this does not inconvenience anyone. I am still doing a Friday morning shift from 7am through to 11am.

The picture below is of Dr Clarence Gonstead who pioneered so much within the chiropractic profession. He developed a whole system about specific assessment and specific adjusting of the spine based on sound biomechanical principles to maximally affect the nervous system. Based on his dedication to his patients and his ceaseless desire to investigate the function of the body he developed one of the largest clinics in the world in Wisconsin, USA.
The Gonstead system came to embody the Art, the Science, and the Philosophy of chiropractic and is practiced all around the world, and became one of the core techniques taught in many chiropractic colleges, including here in New Zealand.
My passion for the Gonstead system is its specificity. By understanding the precise location and nature of the subluxation, and being as specific and precise with adjusting these spinal dysfunctions, we often find that patients generally respond quicker, and hold their adjustments longer, while doing less. I have been taught and guided by Doctors who worked and learnt from Dr Gonstead himself, and I now also teach the next generation of chiropractors this very same Art, Science, and Philosophy.

Happy New Year everyone. hope you had a restful and peaceful summer so far. We are back into it and already the days are filling up.
As per last year, I am still here only on Monday afternoon from 3pm and again on Friday morning from 7am. However, if you need to contact me outside of these hours, don't hesitate. Email, call my mobile and leave a message, or Whatsapp!
Hope you are all looking forward to a great new year with less interruptions and more certainty.

Many athletes from all the different sports from around the world are recognising the preventive benefits of chiropractic care to keep them in tip top shape.

All 32 professional football teams use doctors of chiropractic to help keep players healthy and in the game. According to the Professional Football Chiropractic Society, team chiropractors provide anywhere from 16,000 to 27,000 chiropractic adjustments to pro football players during the 120-day regular season.
