Just finished this large quilt for G a new quilter who did a great job putting this together. Quilted with a pnto from Lorien called Volts using glide thread Eclipse on yhe Top and Bombay on the back. Here are some pics but haven't managed to get one of whole quilt as so big. Hope you like it G.

This quilt has gone to it's home. The maker is not a quilter but made this applique quilt for a new grandchild. She used images she found from various sources and did a great job. There will be a happy little girl when she receives it.

Sorry I has been remiss with updates. Thank you to all that have been visiting.
Here are some of the quilts I have had the privilege to quilt so far this year.
All quilting is hand guided - no computer on my machine.
The heart quilts were all done for The Healing Hearts for Christchurch drive.

Gaining inspiration from a clients quilt I made a Kiwiana Shattered Nine Patch lap sized quilt for a friend visiting from the UK.
Backed with minkee and quilted with light grey Glide thread using a Panto called Kindle.
She loves her memento.

This quilt has gone back home. It has been about 20 yrs since it was first started - some hand stitched then machine sewn. Has been in a cupboard awaiting a finish. Belongs to a colleague and she had requested feathers ++. She loves it which makes me happy. Too big to get decent photo of whole quilt.
