The Leishman Funeral Services Women traveled up to the windy weather of Dunedin to face Roslyn knowing they would be a hard team to beat. The first minute almost saw the team get the fastest goal ever seen but unfortunately it went a little wide. From then Roslyn saw the ball more, attacking down the right wing and getting a couple shots on goal but Trinity Bradbury in goals came to the rescue with some great saves. In the 20th minute, Roslyn got a corner getting sent into the middle, and was knocked out by Clutha but not far enough for a great finish by Roslyn. Clutha kept attacking but just couldn’t get the last step to score. The second half was definitely a better half more shots on target and eventually 10 minutes before the end of the game the girls did some wonderful 1-2 passing to get a goal. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough for the win but they battled past a strong wind to secure a 1:1 draw. Player of the day went to Stacey for putting her body on the line and having some great passing.
