Clutha Team Midwives & Maternity Centre Our team of LMCs and Core Midwifery staff will provide the majority of your care from your first initial booking until 6 weeks after your baby's birth.

We are a local team of supportive, friendly Midwives supporrting local women and their families throughout pregnancy, birth and postnatal periods at our local Maternity Centre in Balclutha. Here at Clutha Health First we believe pregnancy and childbirth are significant life events and we are delighted to be able to provide you with local Midwifery care in your local area. One of our Midwives will

be with you during your labour and birth. We have a welcoming and homely Maternity Centre that has all the necessary equipment and expertise required to deliver safe care to women experiencing a low risk pregnancy and anticipating a normal birth. At Clutha Health First Maternity we promote birth as a physiological process and aim to support you and your family to achieve the best outcome for you all. Feel free to get in touch with us at any time, we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are only too happy to answer any questions and offer care and advice.

Join the team, and local peer supporter from Clutha Nic Ryan, from Milk Mamas this week down at TPOMA. Drop in for a drink and a chat regarding anything to do with feeding babies. It is a safe space to feed your baby.

This coming Thursday (14th of November) we will be down at TPŌMA. Drop in for a cuppa, a safe space to feed your baby, and chat about anything related to feeding babies. Your Peer supporter this week is Nicola Ryan.

The Dunedin Car Seat Drop-In Clinic is on every Thursday and is open to anyone in the Dunedin area - if Thursday does not suit you, or you are outside the Dunedin City area I am happy to make an appointment for another day. 🚗
Please note, if I am with someone when you arrive there may be up to a 15 minute wait, but we have a welcoming and warm reception area for you to wait in. 🙂

We wish to extend a sincere thank you to all the wonderful knitters out there in our community who have supported our recent request for newborn knitting, to keep our babies who come to our Maternity unit warm.

Our Midwives and Maternity team are incredibly grateful of the generosity shown with the amount of knitting we have received, we have been inundated with singlets, hats, and booties.

Please accept this as a personal thank you as many names from donors are unknown. What a wonderful community we live in. Thank you!
