Clutha Team Midwives & Maternity Centre Our team of LMCs and Core Midwifery staff will provide the majority of your care from your first initial booking until 6 weeks after your baby's birth.

We are a local team of supportive, friendly Midwives supporrting local women and their families throughout pregnancy, birth and postnatal periods at our local Maternity Centre in Balclutha. Here at Clutha Health First we believe pregnancy and childbirth are significant life events and we are delighted to be able to provide you with local Midwifery care in your local area. One of our Midwives will be with you during your labour and birth. We have a welcoming and homely Maternity Centre that has all the necessary equipment and expertise required to deliver safe care to women experiencing a low risk pregnancy and anticipating a normal birth. At Clutha Health First Maternity we promote birth as a physiological process and aim to support you and your family to achieve the best outcome for you all.
