We are all decontioned. Our cavemen ansesters used to kill a deer and carry it up the hill to their cave.

Most of us struggle to get off the couch unassisted. It starts small and gradual, we don't know that it's happening.

Obviously this is not a new study finding, but it pleased me very much making this 🤣

6 months of calf pain...
Coming from his back 🤯

Because his core was 'offline', his body didn't stop... It adapted... Seeking action from other muscles.

These other muscles pulled on his spine repeatedly and over time he presented with pain.

When the core (the deep stabilizing system) isn't working properly, the body will find another way to achieve the same movement...

It will seek help from the muscles of
➡️ The hips
➡️ The torso
➡️ The back

When you lean, it's not just for support, it's a learnt, reinforced strengthening of the wrong muscles.

That’s rib flare… and it’s one of the biggest reasons I was in constant pain.

You can still move.

People in pain do everything they can to avoid it. Sometimes you get longer periods of being pain free but it keeps coming back.

You can be strong and still suffer with pain that keeps coming back.

Everytime I was getting close to a personal best, my body let me down and I has to rest again.

I worked out almost every day to try counter act the pain I woke up in, and that continued throughout the day.

As a Masted- train osteopath, I have decided to help more people than those that just come into my clinic for treatment.
