A few weeks ago, we shared that we had started exploring Emulin5, a plant-based supplement developed to support the body’s natural handling of sugars and carbohydrates. We promised to keep you updated as we trialled it ourselves and today we wanted to share some observations from Melissa’s journey so far. 🙌
As many of you know, Melissa has lived with Type 1 Diabetes for 18 years and managing blood sugar is an everyday balancing act. Normally, even something as simple as a cup of tea with milk and sugar requires 4 units of short-acting insulin. Short-acting insulin only lasts about 4 hours, which means that throughout the day, additional insulin doses are always needed — even with low-carb meals.
But on Sunday, Melissa noticed something unusual. After taking her long-acting insulin and her usual 4 units at 10:30 a.m., she realised at 6:00 p.m. that she had not taken any further short-acting insulin all day. That’s an 8-hour stretch — double the time her short-acting insulin would normally cover and her sugars were stable at around 7.8 mmol/L at that time.
The data confirmed what she was seeing:
📊 Over the last 90 days, Melissa’s time in her target range (4.5–10.0 mmol/L) was 51%.
📊 In the last 7 days, that improved to 69%.
While this is just Melissa’s personal experience and not a medical claim, it does reflect how Emulin5 may support carbohydrate metabolism, help manage blood sugar balance, and assist the body’s natural inflammatory response.
🔬 Why is this significant?
Emulin5 works across seven key pathways related to carbohydrate metabolism — including starch conversion, glucose absorption, insulin sensitivity and fat formation. Rather than targeting just one mechanism, it provides multi-level support to help the body handle carbs more effectively.
🌱 What’s inside Emulin5?
• Chlorogenic Acid (Coffee Arabica)
• Myricetin (Myrica cerifera)
• Quercetin (Japanese pagoda flower)
• Lactobacillus plantarum (probiotic, 5 Billion CFU)
• Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)
📌 Compliance note: Emulin5 is not a cure or replacement for medication. It is officially a TGA-listed medicine in Australia (AUST L 481850), which means you can look it up directly on the TGA website for all the approved details.
At Imagine Healing, we remain committed to sharing only products we personally test, research, and believe align with holistic care. These early results have been encouraging, and we’ll continue to share updates as we learn more.
