Yin Yoga is slow poses, stretches on the mat held for longer periods of time to aid in creating space in the muscles and the mind.

It'll help create new pathways in your brain and aid in supporting your nervous system & reduce stress. Best when done frequently, but let's just focus on beginning...

A great reminder why Winter is a great Restorative time for your body & mind. We invite you to our Restorative classes or warm up under a blanket on our cosy massage/ beauty tables.❣️

There’s something about winter that quietly calls us inward. The darker mornings, the early sunsets – they nudge us toward rest, reflection and a slower pace. But so often, we push through. We override this call with caffeine and deadlines, wondering why our energy feels stretched so thin. What if winter isn’t a season to power through, but a time to soften into? Slowing down isn’t lazy – it’s restorative. It supports your immunity, steadies your nervous system and gently replenishes what might have been worn down. Try leaning into the rhythm of the season with warming, grounding meals – think slow-cooked soups and stews, roasted root veggies and generous handfuls of herbs. And if you can, create a little wind-down ritual in the evening: candlelight, a magnesium-rich bath or ten quiet minutes under a blanket with your thoughts. Your body knows the season. Trust it.
