First meeting of the year for SANDS Marlborough tonight.

Join us at our first support meeting of the year, tomorrow Wednesday 28th of January at Cloudy Bay Funeral Homes, 15 Boyce Street Springlands from 6-8pm.

We will be discussing triggers encountered over the holiday season and sharing strategies that we have found helpful over this time.

Just a gentle reminder that Sands support meetings are a space for adults only. Much aroha ❤️

As the year draws to a close and Christmas approaches, we want to thank the families who have trusted us during some of life’s most difficult moments. It is a privilege to walk beside you.
While many slow down at this time of year, our door, and our care, remains open to our community. If you are grieving, feeling overwhelmed, or simply need a listening ear, please know you are not alone.
We wish you a gentle and peaceful Christmas, whatever this season may look like for you.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Christmas Remembrance Service on Wednesday evening. It was a truly beautiful time remembering and honouring those who have passed.

Candles were lit to acknowledge the amazing support of Hospice Marlborough Cancer Society Marlborough Sands Marlborough Wairau Hospital, all our Aged Care Facilities, Celebrants and Clergy, neighbours, friends and other community groups that offer support

We were deeply moved by the number of people who contributed to making the service such a success.

Our Remembrance Tree is placed in our foyer, where families are invited to write a message in memory of a loved one using the cards provided.

A big thank you to U3A for their thoughtful gift this year - we truly appreciate it. Members enjoyed hearing David Buckley share a few words about our history. We are pleased to provide a welcoming space for their meetings and we look forward to seeing you in the New Year. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!
