Our bodies are naturally wired to heal.
They are incredible pieces of machinery.
When we cut ourselves, we heal.
When we catch a bug, our bodies fight it.
When we discover a dis-ease, through supportive lifestyle changes, we come back into a new balance.
I am constantly awed by the wonder that we are.
Though healing is a journey, it's not a one session, one event, workshop, book, or retreat fix.
Dedication to one's healing - whether physical, emotional or spiritual takes radical responsibility and a trust in the process.
The body holds compensation patterns, that for one way have supported a certain mode of operation, whether to keep one safe, to keep one moving or a plethora of other amazing reasons.
One way we can work with the body is Fascial Unwinding.
Fascia is a conscious physical sheath that wraps our body head to toe. Encompassing muscles, organs, ligaments, cells, blood vessels and more.
It is the bodies internet - or 'super highway' I just heard.
It has the ability to transmit information at the speed of light from one location to another.
When we listen deeply to the fascia, it has the remarkable ability to unwind, to soften, release, and reorganize long-held patterns.
These may be connected to past physical events like concussions, impacts, surgeries, or injuries, as well as emotional tensions or protective responses the body has stored over time.
Because fascia is both structured and fluid, it can change its tone and tension when given the right conditions. As these shifts occur, the body can naturally move toward greater alignment, ease, and balance. This often supports reduction in pain, improved mobility, and a sense of clarity or emotional release.
