Bee venom is a toxic substance secreted by honeybees through their stingers, primarily used to immobilize intruders for defense purposes. This bee venom contains various bioactive compounds, and its unique components and effects have recently gained significant attention in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and medical fields.
Rojel's bee venom collector is placed in front of the beehive and uses a mild electrical stimulus to collect venom onto a glass plate. During this process, the bees do not lose their stingers, ensuring that their health is not compromised.
Rojel produces bee venom directly at apiaries near North Auckland, New Zealand. We adhere to the New Zealand government's certified RMP facilities to ensure the production of 100% pure bee venom through the following processes.
The crude bee venom harvested from bee venom collector contains numerous impurities, making it unsuitable for direct use in pharmaceuticals, medicine, and cosmetics.
Rojel employs a state-of-the-art production process, utilizing negative pressure filters, centrifuges, and freeze-dryers, to produce 100% purified New Zealand bee venom.
1. Collection: We collect crude bee venom using in-house developed venom collector installed in front of beehives.
2. Negative Pressure Filtration: To remove impurities such as dust, honey, bee pollen, and propolis, we employ filtration processes including filter papers and negative pressure filtering.
3. Centrifugation: After filtering the bee venom through negative pressure filtration, we further purify it by centrifugation to remove impurities such as heavy metals.
4. Micro Filtration: We further purify the bee venom by removing residual impurities under the micro level, ensuring only pure venom components are extracted.
5. Freeze-drying: Finally, we remove moisture and produce purified bee venom in powdered form through the freeze-drying process. Our products are stored immediately after bottling at temperatures below -20 degrees Celsius.

봉독(蜂毒)은 꿀벌이 벌침을 통해 분비하는 독성 물질로, 방어 목적으로 침입자를 제압하기 위해 사용됩니다. 봉독은 여러 생리활성 물질을 포함하고 있으며, 최근에는 그 독특한 성분과 효능 때문에 제약, 화장품, 그리고 의료 분야에서 주목받고 있습니다.
로젤이 개발한 봉독 채취기는 벌통 앞에 놓여져 약간의 전기적 자극을 통하여 유리판 위에 봉독만 모으게 됩니다. 이때 봉침이 몸에서 빠져나가지 않으므로 꿀벌의 건강에는 해가 없습니다.
로젤은 뉴질랜드 북 오클랜드 근교의 양봉장에서 직접 봉독을 생산합니다. 뉴질랜드 정부 인증 RMP 시설에서 다음과 같은 과정을 통해 100% 순수 봉독을 생산하고 있습니다.
봉독 채집기에서 모아진 원독(Crude Bee Venom)은 여러 불순물이 많이 포함되어 있어서 제약, 의학, 화장품의 원료로 바로 사용하기에는 부적합합니다.
로젤은 자체 음압필터기, 원심분리기, 동결건조기를 사용하여 순수 정제 봉독 100% 성분만을 생산합니다.
1. 채집(Collection): 벌통앞에 설치된 봉독 채집기로 원독(Crude bee venom)을 채취합니다.
2. 음압필터링(Negative Pressure Filtration): 먼지, 꿀, 화분, 프로폴리스 등 불순물을 제거하기 위해 거름종이와 음압 필터링 과정을 거칩니다.
3. 원심분리(Centrifugation): 채취한 봉독을 원심분리하여 중금속 등 불순물을 제거합니다.
4. 마이크로 필터링(Micro Filtration): 언더 마이크로 레벨로 잔류 불순물을 한번 더 제거하여 순수한 봉독 성분만 추출합니다.
5. 동결건조(Freeze-drying): 최종적으로 동결건조 과정을 통해 수분을 제거하고 분말 상태의 정제 봉독을 생산합니다. 병입 직후 제품은 영하 20도 상태에서 보관합니다.
