One more sleep until Santa arrives. AND this year our team have all made the nice list (🤫even the Boss) 🎄

The Practice will be closing early today, to make sure the Team all get home on time to put out a glass of milk & a mince tart for Santa, and carrots to keep the reindeers fuelled up.

Christmas Eve hours opening at 8:30am Closing at 3:00pm.

We have limited slots for emergency appointments, call us on 07 827 5959 for a call back from the triage nurse. We are NOT a walk-in clinic! Please be aware we call patients back based on the urgency, not the order calls are received.

If you ever have severe pain, chest pain, trouble breathing, heavy bleeding, or sudden changes, please call 111 immediately or go to the nearest A&E.

Your health matters most, and this system helps keep everyone safe. 💙

It’s Measles Immunisation Week! 🛡️

Measles is highly contagious - but the good thing is it’s also preventable. This week is all about making sure our communities are protected.

✅ The MMR vaccine (measles, mumps, rubella) is free for anyone under 18 and for those eligible for free healthcare. Two doses of the MMR vaccine provide 99% of people with protection against measles.

📍 Drop-in clinics are running in many places across the country - no appointment needed.

📍 Many pharmacists and GP clinics offer MMR immunisation.

👶 Not sure if your child is immunised? Now’s the time to check.

📲 Visit info.health.nz/immunisations/immunisation-clinics for local drop-in clinics near you. Note that not every part of NZ has drop-in clinics running, but lots of pharmacies are providing MMR.
