Village residents are serving up the fun at table tennis. We managed to get them to hold still for a moment so we could take some snaps 📷 😀- not an easy task with this fast-paced crew!

📣 It's a game that has everything - friendly competition, banter, and exercise. So the two tables are kept busy. What a great way to start a Friday morning! ⭐️

EV car-sharing is the way to go!
Cambridge Resthaven apartment resident 93-year-old Norm has become the first resident to take up our EV car-sharing option.

✨Remembering and celebrating the lives of past residents
Last week staff and residents came together for our annual remembrance services - to remember and celebrate the lives of the residents we’ve had the privilege of caring for over the past year.

This is a special tradition at each of our care centres, and it feels especially meaningful during Matariki to come together to share memories and acknowledge the love and connections that continue long after someone has gone. 🌟

🕶✨Residents absolutely love their VR adventures, thanks to the technology from SilVR Adventures 🌟

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming SilVR Adventures to our care centre, where they filmed our Diversional Therapy team in action. 🎥💙

Hear from Tracy, the Diversional Therapist, along with Tia and Ronel, the Therapy Assistants, as they share how virtual reality is enriching the lives of residents. 🌏💫

❤️ We love the amazing people in our community who give their generous support to Cambridge Resthaven. Artist Catherine Haworth has donated this gorgeous painting for this Saturday’s Off The Wall Art Sale Fundraiser organised by the Friends of Resthaven Foundation 🖼☀️. She has also designed the artwork for the big sign and posters you might have seen around town 👀

Thank you to Catherine, and to the other people who have donated paintings.

🎉 The proceeds from the Art Sale will help us purchase equipment for our two care centres in Vogel Street and Burns Street 💥
