Hi, I’m Lou, mum of four, and I live with my family on a large sheep and beef farm in Central Hawkes Bay.
My journey with Contact Care started in a way I never expected, through one of our ponies.
She had been unwell for some time and after trying just about everything to help her, I confided in someone about how worried I was. That’s when a lovely lady mentioned a guy who did incredible work with horses. I was open to anything by then, so I decided to give it a go.
In August 2023, Greg Jamieson came to see our pony, Tilly. I had no idea what to expect.
What I witnessed that day was nothing short of amazing. My husband and I watched as Greg worked with Tilly and we were both blown away by her reactions and how everything he explained about Contact Care just made sense.
Of course, after that, we had to try it for ourselves. Greg began treating not just us, but our kids, farm dogs, and other horses. Contact Care became a regular part of our lives.
In October 2023, I took the leap and completed my first Human Contact Care Foundation Course. Since then, I’ve attended four Human foundation courses and two Equine ones to date. I’m aiming at starting my Human Practitioner training in 2026.
These days, I’m grateful to be helping others with Contact Care, seeing incredible results, and spreading the word about this powerful work, especially to those who haven’t experienced it yet.
