Takurua Restore - Women’s winter Solstice gathering

Celeste and Jo warmly welcome you to a gathering of wāhine on the longest night. A night of inward reflection and stillness as we gather under Takurua

Acknowledging Hine-Takurua, the winter maiden representing a time of release, deep nourishment and gratitude.

Takurua is a Māori name for winter & the name for the brightest star in the night sky also known as Sirius.

In te ao Māori Hinetakurua represents the winter maiden. She is seen in the winter months in the form of Takurua ⭐️ high along the horizon as the sun rises.

We will start the evening connecting with one another & and acknowledging the energies of Takurua. Followed with a grounding guided meditation and a journey of sound and energy healing frequencies. We will end our evening with a nourishing winter soup to ground the mauri and open the space for reflection

High stress shouldn’t mean living in constant pain.

If you’re a professional constantly “on,” you might be noticing it in ways you didn’t expect—tight jaw, headaches, clicking jaw when you eat, or even neck tension that won’t go away.

That’s often linked to TMJ dysfunction.

Stress doesn’t just live in your mind—it shows up in your body. Clenching your jaw during deadlines, grinding your teeth at night, holding tension without realizing… it all adds up.

What’s tricky is how easy it is to ignore:
“It’s just a headache.”
“I probably slept wrong.”
“It’ll pass.”
But when it doesn’t, your body is asking for attention.

Small changes can make a real difference:
• Becoming aware of jaw clenching during the day
• Creating moments to consciously relax your face and shoulders
• Managing stress in ways that actually work for you
• Seeking support when the discomfort keeps coming back

You don’t have to push through pain to succeed.

What is TMJ?

TMJ is an acronym for for temporalmandibular joint and is usually used to describe conditions relating to the jaw or surrounding areas

TMJ can be complex and I offer individualised sessions depending on what support you need with you TMJ and what’s going on for you 🥰
