Escalating demand means the east Christchurch clinic has to turn away several whānau each week. It hopes its plan will change that.

We are seeking to raise the money required to purchase our facility in Linwood Avenue. This will free up the financial resource to grow our capacity and services at a time where increasing numbers of families are struggling to afford healthcare.

We have a unique and once in a lifetime opportunity!
The facility we currently lease in Linwood Avenue is available for us to buy. If we could buy this facility, the impacts for our community would be profound!

Piki te Ora is at capacity. Our existing staff and finances are stretched, meaning we do not have the time or resource to work with new patients. Consequently, Piki te Ora is turning people away. These are vulnerable people whose healthcare needs are growing. Any delay in receiving help often results in long-term health effects.
We would secure Piki into the future by owning our own home.
We would be able to re-direct the money we are currently paying in rent to increase our staff numbers and services. More staff and more services consequently mean that more people will get the care and advice they need to live health lives. We no longer will have to turn people away. Together with our donors, we will be able to ensure everybody who comes through our doors will receive the affordable care they need.
