How to use essential oils for blood pressure support 🌿

When it comes to high blood pressure, how essential oils are used matters just as much as which oils are chosen.

Essential oils may support healthy blood pressure by calming the nervous system, reducing stress, and encouraging relaxation — but they must be used gently and intentionally.

✨ Best practices include:
• Inhalation for nervous system support
• Short, mindful diffusion sessions
• Personal inhalers for stress-triggered tension
• Proper dilution for topical use

⚠️ Essential oils are complementary support only and are not a replacement for medical treatment. If you have hypertension or are taking medication, always consult your healthcare provider before use.

Used safely, essential oils can be a beautiful addition to a holistic approach to stress and wellbeing 💚

Essential oil chemistry & blood pressure 🌱

The way essential oils work goes far beyond scent — it’s their chemical components that influence the nervous system, muscles, and blood vessels.

In this carousel, we’re looking at key constituents such as linalool, terpinen-4-ol, citronellol, benzyl benzoate, β-caryophyllene, and estragole, and how they may support blood pressure by:

• Calming the nervous system
• Relaxing smooth muscle
• Encouraging vascular relaxation
• Reducing stress-related tension

✨ Understanding essential oil chemistry helps us use oils more intentionally, safely, and effectively.

⚠️ Some components are powerful and dose-dependent. Proper dilution, moderation, and professional guidance are essential — especially when supporting conditions like high blood pressure.

Essential oils & blood pressure support 💚

High blood pressure is closely linked to stress, nervous system overload, and emotional tension.
Certain essential oils may support healthy blood pressure by calming the nervous system, slowing the heart rate, and encouraging relaxation in the body.

In this carousel I’m sharing oils traditionally and scientifically noted for their hypotensive, stress-reducing, and calming properties — including Bergamot, Clary Sage, Ylang Ylang, Geranium, Sweet Marjoram, and Lavender.

✨ These oils work primarily by:
• Reducing stress & anxiety
• Supporting nervous system balance
• Encouraging vascular relaxation

⚠️ Essential oils are complementary support only and not a replacement for medical care. Always dilute correctly and consult your healthcare provider if you have hypertension or are taking medication.

Quick DIY foaming hand soap 🧼

Made in a reusable glass bottle because we love low-tox and low-waste ✨

Castile soap can be drying for some, so I always add fractionated coconut oil for extra moisture 💧

Finished with Wild Orange, Black Spruce & Peppermint for a fresh, clean kitchen scent 🌿

Simple. Refillable. Toxin-free.

Here's the recipe I use

2 - 3 Tbsp Castile Soap (make sure it's unscented)
1 Tbsp Fractionated Coconut Oil
30 drops essential oil

Testing a new perfume blend as it nears completion 🌿

The opening note of Wild Orange offers a bright, sweet and uplifting first impression, followed by a calming floral bouquet of Lavender, Geranium and Roman Chamomile.

As the scent settles, Sandalwood lingers with a creamy, softly sweet woody depth, supported by Vetiver, Cedarwood and Frankincense.

This blend is now in the final testing stages and almost ready to be sent out.

Scent lasts on skin for around 12 hours.
