It is especially helpful for booking appointments when the practice is closed, checking available appointments, and requesting repeat prescriptions without needing to call during business hours.
We love that MyIndici helps make healthcare more convenient โ however, there are a few things that cannot be done through the app, and there are good reasons for this.

We do not allow direct messaging to your GP via MyIndici. This is so our team can safely manage your communication, ensure requests are documented correctly, and make sure responses are recorded in your clinical file.
If your request is urgent, our reception and nursing team can also ensure it is triaged appropriately โ especially if your usual doctor is not working that day. This helps us get you the right care, at the right time.
The โHelp with MyIndiciโ option is designed for initial set up issues or access concerns only. It is not a communication tool for contacting your GP, requesting prescriptions, or for general contact with the practice.

We have noticed an increase in patients booking nurse appointments with Sarah Clark, our Nurse Practitioner. While both nurses and Nurse Practitioners are highly skilled clinicians, there are important differences.
โ๏ธ Registered Nurses often provide immunisations, wound care, health checks, cervical screening, chronic condition support, and other nursing care.
โ๏ธ Nurse Practitioners are advanced clinicians who can assess patients, diagnose conditions, order tests, prescribe medications, and manage many health issues similarly to a GP.
Sarah Clarkโs appointments are for clinical consultations as a Nurse Practitioner and are different from standard nursing appointments.

We do not offer standard nurse appointments via MyIndici because many nursing appointments require extra time (often 30 minutes) or need to be coordinated with a GP appointment before or after. Booking these correctly helps ensure you receive the right care and enough appointment time.
