πΏπ¬ Meet Lauren β Our Health Coach π¬πΏ
At Burwood Health, we are proud to have Lauren as part of our clinical team in the role of Health Coach β supporting patients to make meaningful, sustainable changes to improve their overall health and wellbeing.
What Does a Health Coach Do?
A Health Coach works alongside you β and alongside your GP and Nurse β to help you better understand your health, set realistic goals, and feel confident managing long-term conditions.
Lauren can support you with:
β Understanding a new diagnosis
β Managing long-term conditions such as diabetes, heart disease or asthma
β Lifestyle changes (nutrition, activity, sleep, stress)
β Building confidence in self-management
β Setting achievable, personalised health goals
β Navigating community supports and services
Health coaching is not about being told what to do β itβs about working together. Lauren provides a safe, supportive space to talk through what matters to you and what feels achievable in your life.
Why Is a Health Coach Important?
Many health conditions require ongoing self-management. Having a Health Coach means you have extra time, guidance and encouragement to help turn advice into action. Small changes, supported well, can lead to long-term improvements in wellbeing.
Lauren works as part of our wider care team, ensuring your health plan is coordinated and centred around you.
If you think you would benefit from meeting with our Health Coach, speak to your GP or Nurse at your next appointment.
Weβre here to support your health journey β every step of the way π
