Thanks to the Halberg Foundation we have a cool set of beach wheels available for use. The tyres replace standard wheels on manual wheelchairs so the users can access the beach.
These will be available to book for free along with our other equipment.

Have you noticed something new in the carpark at North Beach Surf Life Saving Club?

This new container stores the beach wheelchairs, hoist and access mat equipment which is part of the North beach - Beach Access project. When you book you will be given an code to access the equipment.

Support to use the Beach Wheelchair: We recommend that you bring a support person with you when you use the beach wheelchair. There is a hoist to assist with transferring in and out of the wheelchair if needed (please bring your own sling).
