Happy new moon!
Here in the Southern Hemisphere, we are in winter.
The Earth rests, as our bodies long to. We have just passed the solstice - the shortest day, and the longest night.
Matariki is here.
And, in this space, there is an opening.
A doorway within us that opens to a paradox: The newness of the day within the eternity of an ancient world.
The ancient sun, ever burning.
The Earth, ever spinning,
making a fresh morning again and again in the impossibility of time.
The ancestors call us forward in this paradox.
They call to us from outside of time,
From inside us, they call us deeper - into the dark, warm space of our wintering bodies.
The wintering Earth our mirror.
The dark starry heavens our compass.
Can you feel the freshness of this day?
On your skin?
In your dreams?
In the dark space of your night bedroom?
Do you feel the newness of your germinating seeds? What are you growing now, in this co-creation with those who came before you?
They went before you -
Do you see them now in front of you?
Our passed loved ones walk with us into the future, guiding us as we guide the children. To care for the earth. They teach us to forgive and love one another with the integrated wisdom of many deaths.
Here, in this time we are permitted to heal and grow through the learnings of many lifetimes in this one precious life.
You might find you have moved through a bigness. Like a huge wave that you were riding through the barrel of. It has broken on the shore and now you get to catch your breath and muse on what is released for you with it. What is birthing within you?
How wonderful to take a deep breath of cool fresh air. How beautiful to rest your aching body. Rest now, rest and integrate all that you been learning and healing. Practice boundaries and protect your energy through this integration so that you can hold the learnings and not lose them to fear. Do you recognise how precious your uniqueness is? You might not notice how you are noticed by spirit and the incarnate alike. It is human to fear change and newness because it does not feel familiar and safe. Hold strong to your truth, let it bloom and be an anchor to divine love.
