This month, residents visited the historic Mona Vale homestead in Riccarton. They enjoyed coffee together before taking a leisurely stroll through the beautiful gardens, sharing laughs and catching up along the way.

Last month, residents enjoyed a bespoke Scottish whisky tasting experience with Highland Fern Whisky. Guided by their knowledgeable team, we sampled five outstanding single malt whiskies while learning about their unique origins, flavours, and traditions. Last month, we marked Cinco de Mayo — a celebration of Mexico’s 1862 victory over France — with a vibrant Mexican-themed cooking class hosted by the fantastic Kahlo Cooking School. Residents learned to make delicious green chicken enchiladas and enjoyed the meal together afterwards. A fun, flavourful evening full of learning, laughter, and great food! 🌮🇲🇽👨‍🍳

Earlier this month, Banbury residents enjoyed a fantastic outing aboard the Weka Pass Railway Train, travelling from Glenmark to Waikari and back in true vintage style! Operated entirely by passionate volunteers, the Weka Pass Railway offered a nostalgic journey through the stunning limestone landscapes of North Canterbury. 🚂

After arriving in Waikari, we had time to explore the charming township. The return journey was just as delightful, with everyone enjoying the rhythmic clatter of the train and the scenic views.
