Throughout our TRILife Wellness Month, residents enjoyed 'Intro to Pickleball' sessions, held at the Cashmere Club! Each session was a lively, laughter-filled way to master the basics and enjoy some friendly competition. Everyone had the opportunity to dive into the excitement of this trending sport—no experience, just enthusiasm required!

☘️ Breakfast at The Bog ☘️
Earlier this month, to celebrate St Patrick’s Day, we headed out for a full Irish breakfast at The Bog — easily the most festive spot in town. With great food, good company, and plenty of Irish cheer!

Last month, we headed over to Kaiapoi for a lunch cruise on the beautiful Kaiapoi River Queen. Originally built in 1986 as a replica of a Mississippi paddle-boat, the River Queen was refurbished and renamed in November 2019 to reflect its new home in Kaiapoi. It was a wonderful afternoon spent enjoying good company and scenic river views!

Last month, we were up with the birds and spent the day out on the water in Lyttelton, enjoying an epic fishing charter. After a day's fishing, everyone got to take home their share of the day’s catch—what a treat!

The Banbury ladies kicked off 2026 with their first lunch outing! They headed to Brigittes in Sumner, the charming new café in the spot formerly occupied by Sumner Social, enjoying delicious food, laughs, and great company to start the year right!

From October '24 to September '25, residents and staff across Qestral villages, including Banbury Park came together to fundraise for the Westpac Chopper Appeal!

Thanks to market days, themed events, raffles, and presentations, our villages raised an incredible $48,735.91 to help this vital emergency rescue service. Many residents and staff had personal connections to the Chopper, making the campaign even more meaningful.

The campaign concluded with an official presentation, attended by representatives from Westpac and the local Canterbury West Coast Air Rescue Trust.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated—you’ve made a real difference! 💛🚁

🎄🥂 We ended 2025 with our annual Residents’ Christmas Lunch! Everyone enjoyed delicious food, complimentary drinks, and plenty of festive cheer, capped off with the exciting Christmas hamper draw. A perfect way to wrap up the year! 🎁

Our Christmas Market was a fantastic day out, with a great mix of stalls, tasty treats, and fun for all ages.

A big thank you to our stallholders and everyone who came along — together we raised $1,750 for our charity!

Fika Finders: A Walk and Coffee with Friends
Last month’s outing took us to the Estuary for a relaxed walk from Bridge Street in South Brighton and back, before we finished up with a well-earned coffee at Dune Café. A lovely way to spend the day with friends!

Adventure Walkers at Orton Bradley Park
Last month’s outing took us to the hidden gem of Orton Bradley Park in Charteris Bay. We met our guide for an engaging historical talk, enjoyed the rhododendrons in bloom, stopped in at the café for lunch, and then set off on a scenic 6km walk together.
