Happy New Year everyone! Hope you all had a lovely relaxing Christmas break and are coming back refreshed and ready to hit the ground running! ☀️👙🌊🏖️📖🐕
Can you believe we’re halfway through January already?! The year of the fire horse will have things moving at a rapid pace for us this year from mid February onwards, so get ready for a year of action and change!
My first day back at work included a follow up session with Eeyore, an 11 year old Pinto. I was asked to treat Eeyore before Christmas to see what came up for her and at the risk of sounding like the biggest cliché ever….. it turned out Eeyore was really depressed! Oh dear… 😔
And it was completely understandable, as I was told dear Eeyore had lost her Mum when she was just 3 months old and watched her being euthanised.
Sweet little Eeyore, was on high alert, she was spooky, had anxiety, depression, low life force energy and she had significant imbalances in her energy field.
First of all, Eeyore needed four Bach flowers and four essential oils to help resolve some layers of her sadness and depression.
She also indicated she needed Emotional Stress Release (ESR) to address her emotional state and the trauma she was carrying surrounding the loss of her mother.
As placed my hand on her head and began the ESR, Eeyore dropped deeply into her parasympathetic nervous system, relaxing completely. She had some beautiful releases and was calm and grounded afterwards. I also adjusted her poll, her TMJs, her neck and masseter muscle (cheek) which is crucial for grazing and drinking, and can be affected by stress.
I left Eeyore a Vetiver essential oil blend to continue using, and I received the following feedback a couple of days after her session:
“Eeyore update - she seems much happier and a bit more like her usual perky self. She’s allowed back on grass overnights now which is helping too. Rode today first time since her session and she was so much less spooky than usual too! Loves her oil, keeps trying to bite the bottle. Thanks again. Will be in touch soon re a follow up ☺️”
When I treated Eeyore again we worked on more specific fears that she had been struggling with, including her fear of dogs after a bad experience, her fear of tarpaulins and her fear of floating. I also addressed some physical issues, including her right rear cannon bone at the site of a previous injury, as well as her gut and jaw.
After her treatment, whilst enjoying a pile of fresh hay in her paddock a dog wandered in and walked straight past Eeyore. She was significantly calmer than expected with only a minor response to the complete injustice of it all.🤣
