The bottle feeding advice I see floating around? A lot of it belongs in the bin. 🗑️

The stuff passed down from well-meaning (but very opinionated) family members. The old wives’ tales that have been recycled for generations. The unsolicited advice from someone who fed their baby 30 years ago and is very confident about it.

And then there’s the content created by bottle brands, companies with a product to sell, not a baby to feed.
No IBCLCs. No neonatal nurses. Nobody who actually understands the mechanics of how babies feed.

So when your baby is gagging, gulping, gassy, or refusing the bottle and nothing you try is working, it’s not because you’re doing it wrong.

It’s because the advice was never built around your baby in the first place.

You deserve support from someone who actually knows what they’re talking about. 💛

I built a bottle feeding course, developed by an IBCLC + neonatal nurse (hi 👋) because this stuff matters, and you shouldn’t have to piece it together from the internet and your mother-in-law. Comment ‘bottle’ for the link

Up to 80% of mums doubt their supply at some point in their breastfeeding journey. And a vast majority of the time? It’s stress for nothing.

Babies feeding patterns change, your breasts aren’t designed to feel full all the time and sleep!? Well it’s not the best indicator of milk intake.

But I get it, it’s really easy to over analyse and doubt yourself. Instead read this, be reassured and if after reading it you really think it’s low please reach out for some help.

Save this for when you need it or send to a mama in need 🤍

Honestly pinch myself at the opportunities that have come my way since putting myself out there.

Never in a million years did I think I’d get to meet all the incredible people i have.

From brands working in the breastfeeding/ postpartum space to the experts to the incredible families who trust me to guide them.

Forever grateful. A small part luck, a huge part hard work, long hours and a serious amount of self doubt along the way but here we are.

Special mention to for having me as part of the team it’s been one hell of a ride and there is so much more to come

Might seem simple but so effective when you just want to be out of the house.
Because there is nothing worse than pushing an empty pram with one hand whilst a small human is making you deaf in one ear ✌️

Wake windows. Perfect schedules. Tracking apps. Exact milliliters. “Bad habits.” Feeding rules. Conflicting advice from every direction.

Meanwhile your baby is just being a baby.
Most feeding challenges are not caused by parents “doing it wrong.” They’re usually a combination of normal infant behaviour, lack of support, unrealistic expectations and way too much noise online.

You do not need to parent from a spreadsheet to feed your baby well.

Sometimes the most helpful thing you can do is:
* feed responsively
* trust your baby a little more
* trust yourself a little more
* stop looking for the “perfect” routine
* get support from people actually trained in infant feeding

Feeding should feel supported, not like you’re constantly failing a test. 🤍
