ACE Physio is growing, and we’re excited to welcome Marie Su to the team in a part-time role!

Marie brings over a decade of physiotherapy experience from both New Zealand and Singapore. She has a special interest in women’s health, paediatrics, and elderly care, and is passionate about combining hands-on treatment with personalised exercise programs. We’re excited for our patients to experience the high-quality care and warmth Marie brings to every session.

Al will be so missed. I always looked forward to our physio sessions.

A beautiful painting he gifted me last year hangs in the clinic, a reminder of his talent and kindness.

We are extremely saddened to hear our very special friend and coach Al Hawkins passed away this morning.

Al was an extremely kind man who was very generous with his time to others and had an amazing nature with the younger players .

He was always available to help with coaching at the drop of a hat, he was a regular supporter at our premier games and all club events .

At 76 years of age he was still himself doing 3 private lessons week with Matt, James and Sam and coaching others 20hrs a week. Our last lesson with him was yesterday.

As an extremely talented artist , he was regularly donating paintings for fundraising events

Al had a passion for helping people at both Cashmere Tennis Club and Elmwood Tennis Club.

You will leave a very big hole at the club Al and will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know you 💔. Thank you for everything you did for us .

It’s been a busy few weeks at ACE Physio!
We’ve been seeing lots of patients for:

- Ankle injuries: focusing on adding stability and strength
- Lower back pain
- ACL rehab
- Long term shoulder pain: using strength testing/ digital dynamometry to highlight specific areas of weakness
- Sports specific fitness programming
