Welcome to the Team, Michael!

We are delighted to welcome our newest team member, Michael, to Bellbird Hearing.
Michael is an experienced Nurse, here to help with your ear wax removal appointments. With his arrival, we’re thrilled to offer extra capacity so our clients can be seen sooner. He will be working part-time alongside our wonderful Ear Nurse, Anna.

A little about Michael:
Michael is a registered nurse with over 35 years of experience, primarily as an intensive care and flight retrieval nurse here in New Zealand, and more recently as a primary health nurse in the Netherlands. He’s excited to join the Bellbird team and to shift his focus from hospital-based critical care to community-based care that enhances quality of daily living for the clients who come to Bellbird Hearing.

Learning About Ears with Little Listeners

One of our audiologists, Dr Melissa Babbage, recently had the absolute pleasure of visiting Discovery Junction – Styx Mill Preschool to chat with the 3-year-olds about ears and hearing.

The children loved learning how our ears help us listen and taking a peek at their own ear drums!

Starting conversations about hearing health early helps children grow up knowing how important it is protect their hearing and care for their ears.
