Anti-Wrinkle Results 💉

Upper Face Treatment. Advanced Assessment Approach

This client presented with dynamic lines across the forehead and frown area. There was also some compensatory muscle activity contributing to the forehead lines.

A full facial assessment was performed at rest and in movement to assess:

• Natural brow position
• Forehead muscle strength and pattern
• Frown muscle dominance
• Overall upper face balance

Treatment was performed using botulinum toxin type A, with conservative and strategically placed dosing. The aim was to soften movement, not freeze expression.

Treatment goals:
• Soften forehead and frown lines
• Maintain natural expression
• Preserve brow position
• Reduce excessive muscle activity

How anti-wrinkle works:
Botulinum toxin type A temporarily reduces muscle contraction by blocking nerve signals to the targeted muscles. Results develop gradually over a few days, with full effect typically seen at 10–14 days.

With anti-wrinkle treatments, results are not just about how many units are used. Injection depth, placement, and precise dose distribution are key to achieving balanced, natural outcomes.

Transform Clinic has over 25 years experience in Appearance Medicine.

Katie McIndoe is a Registered Nurse and Beauty Therapist, specialising in Appearance Medicine and Applied Aesthetics. Katie has been in the Aesthetic industry for 10 years, 7 of which she has been working at Transform Clinic.

Katie has advanced experience in injectables (Botulinum, Dermal Fillers, Belkyra, Profhilo), skin health and rejuvenation, laser and IPL treatments and general facial assessment and personalised appearance medicine plans.
