We are excited to welcome podiatrist Andrew Hawkey, of Pace Podiatry, to St Albans MC. He is operating a clinic here all day Tuesdays. It is great to have someone of his expertise and experience in-house.

Here’s his bio : “I've been practising in podiatry for 20 years now. I worked for four years in Queenstown and worked in the hospital podiatry outpatients in Dunedin and Invercargill during that time. I spent the last sixteen years working for Feet First Podiatry doing a variety of work including diabetes, orthotics, general podiatry, rest homes, home visits and nail surgery. I'm a keen sportsperson actively involved in squash and operations at Christchurch Football Squash Club. I also go to the gym and mountain bike, and for self-flagellation I'm a long-suffering Warriors supporter. My family is closely associated with the arts and music scene in NZ.”

Open 8am - 5.30pm 21st, 22nd, 23rd December
8am - 4.00pm 24th Dec.
8am - 5.30 pm 29th, 30th, 31st December

We will be closed on the statutory days. The 24 Hour Surgery will be available for after hours care.

St Albans Medical Centre encourage people to seek timely care for health concerns, during COVD 19 restrictions. We would rather hear about early health issues, than be presented with advanced problems later with worse outcomes for you. Rest assured St Albans has clear processes in place to separate those with respiratory symptoms requiring COVID 19 testing off site, and those presenting with other health concerns.

This is the plan of our new carpark due to open shortly. It is positioned at the rear of the pharmacy and medical centre linked by a common access corridor to the reception area.
Note : carpark entry and exit is now from St Albans Street only.

Unfortunately we have had to cancel the evening flu clinic 13th June due to notification there is a severe flu vaccine shortage in NZ. The small number of remaining vaccines are restricted to those with selected chronic medical conditions with higher risk for influenza complications. Please check early with your GP team if uncertain 033559119.
The flu vaccine for 6 months to 3 years olds is not currently effected by these restrictions, and can be purchased for your child (if ineligible for funded flu vaccine), but we expect the supply of this vaccine will also be limited, so book early.
