We can then ensure your visit is a personal, private and positive experience.
Sheils will welcome you when you arrive before you meet with Diane or Anna for your private consultation. The salons are spacious and your supporters are welcome.
Purchase your wig from Hair Therapy Wigs and receive our excellent services at no further cost.
Included in the wig price:
• support throughout the process from the first phone call through to total satisfaction of fit and after-care
• often more than one visit to select and make the final decision
• head shave when undergoing chemo (supporters are welcome to participate)
• preparation of the chosen wig prior to final fitting
• fitting the wig with customised alterations (incl trimming & styling)
• careful instruction/practise at putting on your wig
• learning how to care for your wig at home and full take-home instructions
• management of MOH subsidy paperwork

ALOPECIA IS IN THE NEWS!!
Have you noticed that Alopecia (loss of hair) is being mentioned more in the media?
Recently a number of people have shared their stories and the affect that a diagnosis has had on their lives. Hearing these stories can help others to not feel so alone when going through a similar experience.

This recently received email is why we LOVE what we do at Hair Therapy Wigs.
Hi, my wife has just recently had an appointment and received a wig from the team there. I thought it only right that you guys know how we felt about how it went.
Having one's hair shaved off can be quite an emotional place along with the treatment etc so we were both pleasantly surprised to find the team there so compassionate, professional and understanding. Not an easy thing to find in most places today.
The wig provided looks amazing and many positive remarks have been very reassuring so many thanks to a really awesome, incredible team.

GREAT NEWS -
we are now open for appointments!
We are operating under Alert Level 2 Health & Safety regulations as a medical services provider.
Hours 9.30am to 3pm or by arrangement.
You will see us wearing appropriate PPE in the salon and we will explain what you can expect at your appointment when you call to book.
Remember to bring a mask but do not worry if you forget, we have some disposable ones available.
There is hand sanitiser on the table outside with a Covid 19 Tracer App code on the front door or inside. If you do not have your phone with you, please sign the register at the desk.
At this time we are only able to allow one support person if you wish to have someone with you at your appointment.

The Team at Hair Therapy Wigs are still able to help you during the different levels of Lockdown.

We hope you are managing through this time and looking after yourselves.
The way we operate and provide help for our clients has to change in line with the health protocols required at each level, but we are still here to support you.
For those of you who are in need of our services – either as one of our valued regular clients or who are experiencing hair loss for the first time, we are thinking of you.
Please be assured that as soon as the situation allows us back to our premises, we will be there for you in person. Until then, we are able to do phone/Zoom consultations and provide guidance. Just speaking with someone who understands what you are going through is invaluable.
We cannot know for sure when we will be back in the salon but we have everything ready (and spotlessly clean) for our return. Our wig stocks are in good shape waiting for you to choose your perfect one.
