Well it was "a sausage and balls kind of day". From entering the 9hr long event with a lead up of illness chest infections to race day. Old 🫁 lungs teens kinda came right. But our bestie went down hard at 2.30 in the morning our 🫎 moosie had to go to hospital with an acute kidney infection, IV, 4 HOURS LATER came home exhausted 😩 and couldn't race.

So Rachie the bluffy beast and Teens with her sh*tty lungs carried on for the 6 hr as a team of two. We had a badass day!! Great rafting, orienteering on point,muddy muddy biking, awesome hiking coughing up along the way to bring it home to see our mate waiting at the end.
I'm absolutely gutted she couldn't be out there with us having adventures like we always do. Really tough for her.

Unranked but a decent time for the day. 7hrs 24 could have us at 3rd oldies and 8th/148 teams. A TOP 10 time after being sick was a total suprise.

Loved getting out there in glenorchy and the stunning mountains with awesome women, amazing support crew from Alannah, Anna and Michelle 🥰

Such an amazing weekend of women who are strong, beautiful on the inside and out 💞

Massage Aotearoa New Zealand (MANZ) was contacted by a member of the public seeking to verify whether a Massage Therapist was a current MANZ-registered practitioner. During this process, it came to light that the individual had presented a fraudulent Annual Practising Certificate (APC) — a document that had been altered from a legitimate version shared online. The original certificate dated back to 2017 and had been edited to appear current, with expiry dates changed to suggest validity through to 2026.

Any attempt to misrepresent registration or falsify official documentation is a breach of professional ethics and undermines public trust in our Industry. We advised the member of the public to cease communication with the individual involved and we attempted to report and follow up via X (formerly Twitter), where the communication took place. However, the account used to make contact appears to have been deleted before any action could be taken, and we were unable to identify or directly contact the individual involved. It’s unclear whether the account belonged to a real practitioner or was a misleading or automated profile. At this stage, we have no reason to believe this reflects a wider issue within the New Zealand Massage Therapy Industry. However, if you come across anything similar or have concerns about a therapist's claimed registration, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us!

Checking our Find a Therapist directory for the most accurate list of registered Therapists or emailing us directly at admin@massageanz.org.nz as not all members share their details online in the public directory, so if you're unsure - we will gladly verify a therapist’s membership status.

Hope River Pies are truly outstanding fancy pants pies right in the heart of lyttleton. A Roast chicken and smokey real bacon and butter leek pie, made with fresh thyme, french white wine sauce, the crispy pastry too and base that holds firm like a good bottom should 😆 seriously the best. Bought a family pie for dinner too.

Top notch fancy pants pies go see them and get some in your freezer!! Fresh made right there from scratch 👌

You all know how much I LOVE PIES 🥧 and sport 😋
