🍻 Residents enjoyed a fantastic afternoon at the Merrin Street Brewery Bar for the monthly Blokes Lunch, soaking up the atmosphere and hospitality the local favourite is known for. West Coast Wonders – Alpine View Travel Club Adventure! 🚂🌿

Our Travel Club had an unforgettable two-night getaway to the wild West Coast! From the stunning TranzAlpine train journey to exploring the new Pounamu Pathway, panning for gold at Shantytown, and visiting the National Kiwi Centre, every moment was a highlight.

We wrapped up with scenic stops at Hokitika Beach and the Hokitika Gorge — a perfect mix of beauty, history, and fun! ✨

School holidays are always a highlight here at Alpine, and this time was no exception! Residents had a fantastic time getting creative with their grandchildren, decorating picture frames. The fun continued with school holiday movies in the Clubhouse: Dolittle and Paddington in Peru!

The session was made even more fun with a hands-on pizza-making activity, giving everyone a tasty way to connect, chat, and put their new sustainability ideas into practice. 🍕

Golf Tournament – Charity Fundraiser ⛳
Residents came together for a fun Golf Tournament at Waitikiri Golf Club, with residents from Burlington and Banbury Park competing in a 9-hole event. It was a fantastic afternoon of friendly competition, and all proceeds went to support the Westpac Chopper Appeal.

This month, our activities theme was 'Community'! Our residents volunteered at local organisations including Pregnancy Infancy Parenting Support (PIPS), 0800 Hungry, and the Food Resilience Network, helping out where their support was needed most.
