We are a practice of midwives who work with women throughout pregnancy, birth and when your baby is newly born.

Ōtautahi Midwives believe in the natural ability of each unique woman to birth and mother her baby. We strive to provide care in a respectful and trusting nature in order to effectively support women in their journey. Women can chose their midwife who will provide lead maternity care th

Imagine giving birth and being unsure how you were going to safely transport your baby home from hospital 😢 Sadly, this is the reality for whānau anxiously waiting on our waitlist because we currently don't have enough capsules to pass on.

Our capsule stock is desperately low and with a large number of babies due in September, October and November, we need your help! If you have a great condition capsule you no longer need, we would be so grateful to take this off your hands. Or if you don't, please share this post far and wide within your networks 🙏

Donated capsules need to meet our health + safety standards:
⭐️ Have never been in a car accident
⭐️ Have at least 12 months left until they expire (we can check this for you!)
⭐️ Come in a clean, mould-free condition with no damage

Thank you for helping us to give the gift of safe travel to whānau in need! 🚗

We are a practice of midwives who work with women throughout pregnancy, birth and for up to 6 weeks following the birth of your baby. Ōtautahi Midwives believe in the natural ability of each unique woman to birth and mother her baby. We strive to provide care in a respectful and trusting nature in order to effectively support women in their journey. Women can chose their midwife who will provide lead maternity care throughout their time with us. We provide a 24/7 on call midwifery service for urgent and emergency care outside routine appointments within the practice, which means there is always our midwifery care accessible to you.
