Hi fellow laughies, Hannah is taking another Laughter Yoga Leader training in Christchurch on 13-14 September. There are a few spots available, reach out to her if you're keen to know more or if you want to sign up! Last training for this year and the next one in Christchurch will probably be September 2026.

For only the second time in 18 years we are having to increase our session price....

To help cover hall costs, we are changing our pricing to
pay what you can easefully afford, ideally $5 per session.

We're really aware that even the smallest increase can be a stretch for some in these times, so please just pay what makes it easy for you to still come laugh with us! 🤗

Hey lovely laughers!!!! Just a heads-up if you're not already aware....
It's the Chch Marathon tomorrow (Sunday 13th) and HEAPS of the CBD roads are closed from 4.30am (yes, REALLY!!!) till 3pm tomorrow afternoon, so STRONGLY recommend you check whether your usual route is affected or not!!!

18 years ago on 17 March 2007 I asked friends and family to come and join me at the St Albans Community Centre for the very first laughter yoga session to mark the beginning of the St Albans Laughter Club (they've never been back 🤣!!).

A massive thank you to all the Laughter Yoga Leaders who have volunteered their time over the years and to you all on this page (and beyond) who have turned up and laughed with us.

Without you all we wouldn't have been able to sustain the ongoing offering of laughter yoga in Christchurch and for that I am truly grateful. It is simply the most powerful way to dissolve stress and worry and to shift ourselves into a state of joy, that I have ever experienced.

A big thank you to Dr Madan Kataria and Madhuri Kataria for the gift they have shared with the world.

We will be holding our regular session at the Scottish Society Hall this Sunday 11-12pm and afterwards will be heading to Abberley Park for a picnic - it's going to be a beautiful day apparently! Please join us and bring a plate of kai to share. We're not sure exactly where we'll be, but you should be able to hear us!
