Contract Adventure Education Instructors
October 2025 – April 2026
📍 Christchurch & Surrounds

We’re gearing up for the busy season and seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and experienced Outdoor Education Instructors to join our small team!

Programme Details:
We are now accepting applications for three instructor roles:

🔹 Application 1 – Day Programmes:
Casual ongoing work throughout the season delivering local adventure education sessions such as ABL, ropes and water-based activities.

🔹 Application 2 – Overnight Tramping Journeys:
Join us for a series of Year 9 tramps including off-track nav, river crossing and Cave Stream:
• Site induction/training: 25 November 2025
• Trips: 27–28 Nov, 1–2 Dec, 3–4 Dec
In addition to below, must have: wilderness first aid certificate, tramping and overnight group experience.

🔹 Application 3 – Full Season Availability:
Keen for as much work as possible? Apply for both day programmes and overnight camps. Ideal for experienced instructors with a broad skill set. Note: for the right candidate, we also have one position for a guaranteed 8 days/ fortnight for term 4 and term 1.

Who We’re Looking For:
Confident working with school-aged participants
Skilled in outdoor instruction, group facilitation, and risk management
Flexible, proactive, reliable and able to work independently
Great communication and teamwork
Holds relevant first aid certificate (or is willing to get before start date) - PHEC preferred

Preferred - Holds (or is working towards) relevant outdoor qualifications (e.g., NZOIA)
Applicants must be a NZ citizen, resident or have a current visa allowing you to work in NZ.
