Did you know capsules are designed to keep pēpi on the correct angle to breathe safely while they’re in the car? That angle changes when the capsule is removed, making them unsafe for sleep.
If your child has fallen asleep on the journey, don’t leave them in the capsule – transfer them to a safe sleep space when you arrive. On long journeys it’s important to stop at least every 2 hours and take pēpi out of the capsule for a stretch and a wriggle.
If you’re not sure if your capsule, car seat or other child restraint is correctly installed, reach out to your nearest child restraint technician for advice. You can find ours on our website: https://bit.ly/4bGhEB2
