MS stands for Multiple Sclerosis - a condition that affects the central nervous system and can cause symptoms such as fatigue, pain, weakness, balance issues, vision problems and mobility challenges. Everyone’s experience of MS is different, and support can make a big difference.

This week is a chance to learn more about dementia mate wareware, support the people and whānau affected by it, and help make our communities more understanding and inclusive.

Some things you may like to do this week include:

🚶 Take part in Move for Dementia or create your own small fundraising challenge
📱 Explore the My Life’s Journey app, designed to help people capture memories and personal stories

Today we’re celebrating a very special birthday - Sir David Attenborough turns 100.

For generations, his calm voice and wonderful storytelling have taken us into forests, oceans, deserts, gardens and places many of us may never visit in person. He has reminded millions of people that the world is still full of beauty, curiosity and wonder - at every age.

At Freedom Companion Driving Services, we think that’s worth celebrating.

Because David Attenborough’s life is a lovely reminder that staying connected to the world matters.
