freedom is... making it this easy to get up to 75% off the cost of your ride*

Most Freedom Drivers are Total Mobility providers and can accept Total Mobility Cards (or vouchers and taxi chits) giving cardholders up to 75% off the normal cost of our companion driving services.

* The Total Mobility scheme in New Zealand provides subsidised door-to-door transport services for people with long-term impairments who cannot use public transport. Funded by central and local government, the scheme offers a subsidy, typically 75% of the fare, up to a regional maximum.

If you think you may be eligible to apply for a Total Mobility Card, but don't have one, we may be able to help.

Hey, I'm Chandu Koduri and I've been living in Ellerslie, New Zealand for quite a while now—it's truly home.
I am the proud owner of the Ellerslie franchise of Freedom Companion Driving Services.

With a background in the taxi industry and customer service, I've learned a lot about what it means to meet people’s needs with care and respect. I really enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life and making every interaction a positive one.

Outside of work, I love getting out in nature, whether it's a quiet walk or just soaking in the outdoors. Community means a lot to me, and I’m always up for meeting new people and making a difference where I can.
