Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Welcome on in to 2026!

It has been a pleasure styling you, serving you, and smiling with you over the last year and we look forward to doing it all over again in 2026.

We are open over the holiday period with some adjusted hours and have examinations available during the period too:

December 24th: Closing at 5pm
December 27th: Closed
December 29-30: 10am - 4pm, with eye exams available
December 31st: 10am-4pm
Jan 3rd: 10am-4pm, with eye exams available
Jan 5th we are back to our regularly scheduled 9am-5pm

I can't decide, Groovers, if I need to order every model of the BAKKELITE series in in this yummy orange jelly colour way or maybe Christchurch can only handle one at a time?? It certain has garnered many 'ohhh LOOK that colour! Well, that is summer in a frame! Am I bold enough to wear orange because that looks so yummy? (hint: yes, you very definitely are bold enough! Life is too short for boring glasses after all!)'

We've seen BERGEN before Groovers - in a beautiful 'subtly groovy' crystal grey and peach. But this time team the cunning designers at Anne&Valentin went to the dark side - when its inside, this new 2025 colour masquerades as a brown frame, but outside... well outside the sun shines through it and you find it's the deepest darkest Ruby red!

Or perhaps if wine is more your speed - a beautiful, deep Syrah.

A little bit oval, a tiny hint cat this shape suits nearly every face and is quite a good shape for those Groovers who find frames that are a little wider but not deeper fit them best.

Same same... but different?

A fresh delivery from Spain means we've got new Etnia stock in store, Groovers!

MARC and LONG are out of the same frame family with Etnia, but as you can tell they are from opposing ends of the colour spectrum, and both very, very attractive on.

Blueish teal and golden tortoiseshell mix together in a classic rectangular square for MARC and bold orange and havana pair for the LONG in a panto shape (a little curvy and little square all at the same time).

Ready to take the next step up from classic tortoiseshell Groovers? Here's the perfect way of doing it!
