Saturday was movies day - seeing The Bad Guys 2.
Sunday was Musical Theatre, with special recognition awarded to Stuart for his confidence with lines, singing, and dance sequences, earning him the Trophy Cup for outstanding effort.
Monday was singing, and lovely to have George and Michelle join us from our theatre group.

This Saturday we head to Hanmer Springs 🙂

Tonight we popped along to see the Many Hats theatre group, from Skillwise perform their show Octopus. Our lovely Ashleigh was absolutely brilliant - loved seeing you perform tonight Ashleigh 🙂

Michelle was awarded the Trophy Cup today for outstanding work. She knew her lines, dances and was contributing so much more today with singing - well done Michelle 🙂
My boy Jonty was back in theatre today which was neat to see. We just happened to celebrate his birthday a little earlier with all his fellow friends. (Wednesday 17/09)

What a fabulous 5 days away we had. It worked out perfectly - sharing a very, large family home all under the same roof.

Yesterday we checked out Otaki - fabulous outlet shops and had lunch at a nice cafe. We went on to Levin to a cute wee theatre to see the movie ‘Sketch’. Dinner was back at Paraparaumu RSA.
We have a full day today in Wellington - will be a lot of fun!

Our trip so far ……….
Staying in our lovely holiday home, with heat pumps, gas fire and lots of space to move around in.
The weather hasn’t been the best at times but hopefully you will see pics of Kapiti Island, The beautiful Virgin Mary statue and the delicious Kapiti Chocolate factory (everybody got some goodies). Our dinner tonight at the RSA was very nice indeed. Tomorrow we hit the shops, aquatic centre and off to buy some incredible donuts (lady on the train recommended we purchase some)
Thunder storms predicted for our forecast 🙂

Fabulous day at bowling yesterday - some great scores. Our lunch at the Cashmere Club was very tasty too.
Today we are in Paraparaumu!

We had a fantastic day out in North Canterbury yesterday. Our first stop at Pegasus Cafe was wonderful, offering free puzzles and books for everyone ( just had to grab a few).
A lovely large lunch at Greta Valley Tavern was neat too.

- nice, muffins, slices and milkshakes too. Lots of laughs a lot the way - great group yesterday 🙂

Busy weekend - Saturday was movies day - seeing Superman - everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.
Today we had our theatre rehearsal with a few away sick, but we managed incredibly well. The performance is looking fabulous!
You might think ‘we were working out at the gym’ today - but with acting you have to ‘play the part’

A couple of certificates were given out today ( just didn’t have any pics sorry)

Another brilliant theatre rehearsal today, with everyone working extremely hard. Concentration and full focus were demonstrated by all.
