Do you enjoy movies, bowling, cafés, shopping, music and shows? 😊

Able Tours is looking for 1–2 casual volunteers to help support adults with disabilities on fun community outings around Christchurch and Canterbury.

Usually just 1–2 days per month on weekends.

This role may suit:
🌟 Mature adults
🌟 Semi-retired people
🌟 Students wanting experience
🌟 Friendly people who enjoy helping others

No lifting or personal cares required.

Our clients simply need a little support while out and about so they can enjoy an incredible day 😊

Great singing session today with an extra special celebration for lovely Barb turning 80 - what a super star she is. I brought the cardio drumming along to singing and everyone enjoyed having a few goes, learning the same drum rhythm I offer on Fridays.

Today was Adaptive Dance, Music & Singing, with a couple of clients away. Only got a few pics to share - the parachute dance/ music & cardio drumming are so much fun! Clients enjoy seated or standing - quite the work out too. A class that suits all abilities.

We are on our way home from the Gold Coast - what a fabulous 8 days we have all had. Movie World was yesterday and we checked out the shopping mall Robina Town Centre the day before. The BIG W was a big hit with everyone buying lots of goodies.(lots of bargains similiar to The Warehouse). Photos might be a random order. We popped along to Dreamworld on Sunday. Lots of walking (train was under maintenance), but that didn’t deter these guys from wanting to see everything. Being a long weekend on the Gold Coast, the park was extra busy, but the sun was shinning and everyone had another great day out and about.

Yesterday we had a few Captains steering the Aqua Duck and what a great job they did too. A wee look around Surfers, lunch at Subway and back to the units for pizza for dinner and some lovely hot spas and pool.
