We have unfortunately had a deceased bird brought into the clinic today that was found along the path of Buckleys Road.
We believe it to be a white dove with black markings/spots on it's back and wings.
It looks like someone's family pet, as the wings have been coloured with pink and blue colour of some sort.
We have taken a photo (not posted), if you believe this bird to be yours then please call the clinic on 03 389 6558.

EDIT 6/4
Unfortunately we have had another deceased cat brought in today. She is a young, black, short haired, female. She was wearing a yellow collar but no microchip. She found on Hay St this morning soon after she passed.
Photo of the collar can be sent if requested.
..........

Today we have sadly had two deceased cats brought into the clinic.

One of them is a brown tabby & white male, he has some white on his face and has a white chin, chest, belly, lower legs and feet. He is not desexed and has no collar or microchip. He is possibly 3-6 years old - this is a very rough estimate. He was found on Parnwell St.

The other is a ginger tabby & white male. He has a white blaze on his nose and has a white chest, belly, lower legs and feet. He is not desexed and has no collar or microchip. He is possibly 1-2 years old. He was found on Hay St.

If you think either of these cats could be yours, please give us a call on 033896558 during our opening hours or email us at clinic@vetcall.co.nz

Photos of both of them are in the comments.
