Chronic Pain treatment viewed through a "Wide Angle Lens"
What I offer you is very much a generalist point of view. Yes, I have for many years specialised in treating chronic pain but my viewpoint, my lens is very wide from my career as a natural therapist.

Presently I've joined Howard Schubiner to learn his process of Freedom From Chronic Pain. His philosophy of neural circuit disorder actually explains my many successes of freeing clients from pain.

Study of the medical methodology and philosophy, as a postgraduate, helps me understand the pain journey that clients or patients had in the proceeding months or years before I met them.

Unfortunately most clinicians and medical specialist change my 'wide angle view' into a magnifying glass and see only the physical part of a person who has chronic pain. The often mentioned 'biopsychosocial model' seems to get stuck on the biological methods rather than the mind body holistic ideas of health.

What Happens in Emotional Release Sessions?
In our consultations you decide the steps you want to take to release your emotions.

Gently stepping over or breaking down the emotional blocks that stop you making changes and also can keep you living with chronic pain or ongoing anxiety

Relaxation techniques
Imaginary role play - don't worry not real role play - think through what you'd like to do

Learn to relax tomorrow night

Learn easy to use meditation and relaxation techniques and self-care during online classes and calming skills to practice in your own time.

You need to have a quiet space, or earphones, to take part in the class and a supportive chair, such as a dining chair or upright seat with blocks under your feet if your legs cannot rest comfortable on the floor.

This class is not suitable if you have any breathing or respiratory problems

Women and Wealth Meeting
Tuesday Evening I went to a meeting "Women's Wealth". Yep, just for women.It was a real pleasure to be able to talk about shares and investments to another person without seeing that "glazed look" in their eyes.

Also Georgia Heard told her story about the fabulous work being done by the Champion Centre in Christchurch. It's a community of specialist and experts working with infants and pre-schoolers with disabilities.

Her life changed when her two year old son developed autism. She described how she had been helped with not only treatment for her son but support and education for her as a parent.
