Always reaching for those snacks at night time? 🍽️🌙
If you get to the end of the day and suddenly feel ravenous, you’re not alone! Night-time hunger often comes down one of the following:
✨ 1. You didn’t eat enough earlier
Long gaps between meals or tiny breakfasts can leave your body playing catch up by evening.
✨ 2. Your meals were low in protein or fibre
These help keep you full. Without them, hunger hits hard later on.
✨ 3. You’re tired, not hungry
When you’re low on sleep or energy, your brain craves quick fuel (usually carbs or sweets).
✨ 4. You’re under-fuelling because you’re trying to “be good”
If you restrict too much during the day, your body will naturally ask for more at night.
✨ 5. It’s your wind-down habit
Sometimes it’s not physical hunger - it’s routine, comfort, or boredom.
How to fix it:
✔️ Eat balanced meals through the day
✔️ Include protein + fibre + healthy fats
✔️ Don’t skip meals
✔️ Build an evening routine that doesn’t revolve around food
Night-time hunger isn’t a failure... it’s feedback. Listen to your body and fuel it well 💛
