The weather has been all over the show,
It's so hard to know what to grow.
As we welcome the new moon, it's perfect for planting leafy greens, silverbeet, spinach, brassicas & above ground crops,
Clearing, harvesting, weeding, drying, sowing, planting, ha🤣 gardening never stops.
Hmm 😋, fresh berries appear, I pick some to take inside,
The fact I've eaten so many is hard to hide.
Berry stained fingers and purple lips, so much to eat,
HOMEGROWN, you just can't beat.🌻

Up in the morning
Picking calendula flowers,
The bees 🐝 are buzzing.
Birds 🐦 chirping in the background,
All in harmony.

Eruption of flowers 💐 everywhere,
A sea of color,
Abundance of smells.
Cat's lurking in a haze under the rows of catnip.

The joy as you wander through the garden, to find the perfect lettuce,
While cucumbers hide amongst the nasturtiums reaching to the sky.
Abundance of food and medicine overflowing,
Enjoying the pleasures of growing.
