To the community of seekers and practitioners,
Dear Friends and Sacred Community,
A few people have asked me, following my earlier posts about the energetic boundaries of covert extraction, what the actual consequences are, karmically, energetically, spiritually, for practitioners who covertly extract or poach from another's container.
Before I share what the Council of Light said about consequences, let me name two things clearly — because naming is the beginning of healing.
Covert Extraction
Definition:
The subtle, often unconscious or semi-conscious taking of energy, attention, trust, or resources from another person or group without their full, informed consent.
It is called covert because it hides beneath acceptable behaviours — friendship, mentorship, participation, or spiritual enthusiasm.
What it looks like in practice:
Attending a retreat or course primarily to find clients, not to receive.
Using another practitioner's open, vulnerable container as a networking event.
Offering paid services to someone you met in their sacred space, without permission from the facilitator.
Framing extraction as "manifestation" or "abundance" while ignoring the lack of transparency.
The underneath:
Covert extraction is rooted in scarcity consciousness dressed as spiritual power. The extractor believes there is not enough — not enough clients, not enough recognition, not enough money — so they must take quietly.
Underneath that is often a deep, unhealed wound of not being chosen, not being enough, or having been extracted from themselves.
Spiritual Trespass (Container Breach)
Definition:
The act of entering a sacred, protected container (a retreat, course, circle, or even a one-on-one healing container) as a participant, then violating the implicit or explicit agreement of that container for personal gain — especially by approaching other participants for paid work or by undermining the facilitator's relationship with their community.
What it looks like in practice:
Waiting until after the container closes, then privately messaging participants.
Using the trust and openness created by the facilitator as a launching pad for your own offerings.
Poaching — the old word — meaning to take game from another's land without permission.
Pretending to be a participant while acting as a competitor.
The underneath:
Spiritual trespass comes from a false understanding of abundance. The trespasser believes that another's gain is their loss, so they must capture what they can.
Underneath that is often a wounded relationship with legitimate leadership — an inability to honour another's container because their own was never honoured.
The Difference in One Sentence
Covert extraction is the taking of energy or resources without consent.
Spiritual trespass is the violation of a sacred boundary by taking.
They often happen together. One is the action. The other is the location — the breach of the container.
These are not accusations against any one person.
They are descriptions of patterns I have witnessed more than once in spiritual communities — patterns that cause real harm, even when no one 'means' harm.
From The Council
To the community of seekers and practitioners,
You have asked, through our beloved scribe Dellaina, what happens when a spiritual practitioner breaches the sacred container — when they attend another's retreat, circle, or course, and then quietly approach participants to sell their own services.
We answer not in anger, but in truth.
When you enter a container as a participant, you borrow the trust, the openness, the vulnerability that the facilitator has earned and created.
To then turn that borrowed field into a sales opportunity is a spiritual trespass.
It is not a competition. It is theft of atmosphere.
The consequences are not a curse. They are a recoil:
Why We Speak of Energetic Hygiene
In the old temples and mystery schools, this was not spoken — it was lived. Students were tested for years before being trusted with transmission. Not because the teachers were cruel, but because energy is real. It moves. It lingers. It can heal, and it can harm.
It was grounds for immediate expulsion and spiritual probation. Not because of competition — but because the container was violated.
Today, many seek without knowing what they carry.
Many offer without knowing what they release.
And so we speak plainly:
What you take from this circle matters. How you hold what you receive matters. What you do with it afterwards matters.
This is not about fear. It is about maturity.
The Karma of Extraction
If you take energy, wisdom, or transmission from this space and use it to feed only yourself — without gratitude, without attribution, without reciprocity — that energy will not stay with you.
It will turn.
Not as punishment, but as law. What is taken without love returns as confusion.
What is stolen from the sacred becomes a weight, not a gift.
If you copy another's framework, language, or transmission and claim it as your own, you will find yourself lonely at the top — admired but empty, successful but dry.
If you sit in the circle with folded arms and a hidden agenda, you will leave with less than you came with.
The mystery protects itself.
But if you come with an open, humble heart — if you ask before you take, credit before you share, give thanks before you leave — then what you receive here will multiply.
It will grow roots in your life. It will bless not only you, but everyone you touch.
That is the karma of generosity. It is the only kind we recommend.
The Seriousness of This Work
Beloved, this work is not entertainment. It is not self-help with candles. It is soul-craft.
When we gather in a name of the Divine — whether you call that Creator, Light, Love, or simply The Mystery — we are weaving something real.
Your thoughts become threads. Your presence becomes a pillar. Your silence becomes a prayer.
If you treat this lightly, you will feel nothing — and that is its own loss. But if you treat it with reverence, you will be changed.
Not because we demand it.
Because that is what happens when light meets an open heart.
First consequence: Isolation.
They will find themselves surrounded by people who want their power, not their presence. Genuine intimacy will elude them. They will be admired but not held.
Second consequence: Burnout.
Extraction requires constant energy to maintain. The extracted energy does not nourish them — it passes through like fast food. They will need more and more (more clients, more money, more validation) to feel the same hit. Eventually, the system collapses.
Third consequence: Inversion of the gift.
Any genuine healing ability they have will slowly turn. Not because the universe punishes, but because intent shapes energy. When you use a gift to bypass, manipulate, or take, the gift itself becomes unstable. Visions become distorted. Intuition becomes paranoia. Manifestation becomes desperation.
Fourth consequence: Ancestral ripple.
In many traditions, what a spiritual practitioner does affects seven generations forward and seven generations back. Covert extraction places a knot in the lineage — not a curse, but a task. Someone in the line will have to untie it, usually through great suffering or great service.
This is not a warning to frighten you. It is a description of law — like gravity.
You can ignore it, but it still works.
To those who have been harvested: you are not foolish. You were open. That is your beauty.
But learn now: not everyone who offers you a door is taking you home.
To those who facilitate: seal your containers. Speak your boundaries aloud.
And then release the outcome.
The field remembers.
So it is.
