HOW TO KEEP YOUR JOINTS PAIN FREE
For most people, exercise time is limited. Many of us pick an activity (i.e. running, or biking or tennis) and do this diligently 3-5 times a week. However, many older exercisers notice increasing stiffness and more frequent injuries with that type of regime. For joints to be healthy and strong, it is important to move them through a full range of motion regularly. Exercises that include mobility, working on balance and keeping muscles strong are a must for healthy joints as we progress through life. Instead of retiring to the couch, change your exercise regime: Still do your favourite sport, but reduce it to 2-3 times per week. Join a local yoga or Tai Chi’ class once a week. Go to the park for a walk and include body weight exercises such as walking lunges, squats, planks and side planks and stretching. Have a regular sports massage. Your joints will thank you and reward you with many more years of faithful service.

As 2025 rapidly draws to a close, I want to thank you, my clients for another year of supporting my business. You do this by trusting me with your aches and pains, showing up on time, and referring clients and friends. This has allowed me to keep trading for 25 years so far!!! Dear clients and friends
After a few weeks off in Europe attending a wedding and holidaying in Switzerland, France and England I have returned home to Christchurch. It's amazing what a good, long break and some lovely spring weather can do for body and soul. I am feeling energised and looking forward to working again with clients old and new!
