Your spine isnβt just bones β itβs information!
π§ Occiput (base of the skull):
This area is a major neurological crossroads. I often see occipital dysfunction linked to headaches, neck tension, jaw issues, sinus pressure, and even stress overload. Restriction here can change (disrupt) how the nervous system processes information.
π©Έ Vertebral arteries:
These arteries supply blood to the brainstem, cerebellum, and balance centers. When this system is under strain, people may experience headaches, dizziness, visual changes, brain fog, and more.
β‘ Spinal nerves:
Spinal nerves carry messages between the brain, organs, muscles, and immune system. In Applied Kinesiology, we donβt just ask where a nerve is irritated β we ask why.
Joint dysfunction, muscle inhibition, inflammation, or even visceral (organ) stress can alter nerve signaling. This shows up as pinching, tingling, burning, weakness, shooting pain, or poor muscle activation.
𦴠Anterior = front ; posterior = back
β¨ Why does this matter?
When we improve spinal function, neurological communication improves MEANING the body can adapt, heal, and regulate more efficiently!
